Highland Dance, a solo form of athletic dancing, combines grace, strength, and tradition. You do not have to be Scottish to do this form of dance. Dancers will not only learn each dance, but its individual history and ties to Scotland. Dances such as the Highland Fling, Sword Dance, Seann Triubhas, Scottish Lilt, Flora McDonald's Fancy, Blue Bonnets, Irish Jig, Sailor's Hornpipe and others are learned throughout a dancer’s career. Danced to the sounds of the Highland bagpipes, any competitive or recreational Highland dancer will learn about and enjoy the traditions and heritage of Scotland.

Any student from age of 3 and up is welcome to join Highland dance classes. No previous dance experience is necessary! Male and female dancers are welcome.
